Call for Journal Editors

Our Journal Cultural History is searching new editors! Please apply until the 15th of December 2019!

Cultural History, the peer-reviewed journal of the International Society for Cultural History (ISCH), welcomes high-quality submissions from any discipline that bring contemporary cultural theories and methodologies to bear on the study of the past, regardless of historical or geographical focus. The journal also invites articles that reflect on the ways in which more practical environments such as museums and the heritage industry engage with current debates in cultural history. Cultural History is published by the Edinburgh University Press.

The journal Cultural History is seeking to appoint one new general editor to its board, and is especially interested in a scholar specializing in Central or Eastern Europe during the modern/late modern period. Historians as well as contextually oriented scholars in literary studies, cultural studies, art history, and related fields are welcome to apply.

Cultural History is also seeking to appoint one new reviews editor to its board. Responsibilities include soliciting and managing book reviews and working with the editor in chief. Historians as well as contextually-oriented scholars in literary studies, cultural studies, art history, and related fields are welcome to apply.

To apply please send a CV and statement of interest to Christopher Forth, cforth@ku.edu, no later than the 15th of December 2019. Final decisions are subject to ISCH approval.
